2015 Battle at the Rock DEMO Floater WOD

This is a DEMO of the Floater WOD for the 2015 Battle at the Rock. NOTE: This is not to scale!!!

Athletes will begin with both feet behind the starting line. At 3..2..1..GO!! The athlete will run down, around the wall and back to the start line to pick up the first bag. He or she will run down throw the sand bag over the wall, run back to the start line and touch both hands behind the start line (In this video, the athlete demonstrates two different ways of touching the ground WITH BOTH hands behind the starting line. Any way will be permitted, as long as both hand make contact at the same time). The athlete will proceed to run down, around the wall and return to pick up the second sand bag where he or she will again run down and throw the bag over the wall and return the the start line. The athlete will touch the ground with both hands for the final time and perform one more run around the wall (In the video, the athlete touches the wall on his way around. THIS WILL BE A 10 SECOND PENALTY FOR ANY ATHLETE THAT TOUCHES THE WALL ON THEIR RUNS!! THE PENALTY WILL BE ADDED TO THE ATHLETE’S FINAL TIME). The athlete will then return to the start line, pick up the final sandbag, run down, throw it over and cross through the start/finish line. The judge will stop their watch once the athlete has crossed the line.

To simplify the explanation:
On 3..2..1..GO!!
Run down, around the wall and return. Pick up sand bag #1, run it down, throw it over the wall and return. Touch both hands at the same time, behind the start line. Run down, around the wall and return. Pick up sand bag #2, run it down, throw it over the wall and return. Touch both hands at the same time, behind the start line. Run down, around the wall and return. Pick up the final sand bag (#3), run it down, throw it over the wall and return over the start line to complete the WOD. Score = Time.

**Each time your hand touches the wall on the runs without sandbags, you will receive a 10 second penalty, added to your final time**

**Both hands must make contact with the ground at the same time, BEHIND the start line after returning from throwing sandbags #1 and #2 over the wall**
