Name… Sabrina Dominguez

When did you start CrossFitting… I started crossfit with the x1 program in April 2016

Favorite wod… Don’t have a favorite WOD yet, but do best with low rep WODS
Least favorite wod… Any WOD with lots of reps.

Favorite lift… Deadlifts, power cleans, and push press

Least favorite lift… OHS and front squats

Tell us bit about yourself (family, job, sports, military interest etc..)… I am a wife and mother of four children, two cats and a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family playing board games, running, hiking, and watching my kids play sports.  I’ve been a massage therapist for 11 years, and have my own practice.

What were you doing before CrossFit.. Before crossfit I had tried taebo, running, and had a few personal training sessions, but none of it ever stuck.

What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout… I thought I was going to die, and wondered if I would make it through X-1

What were your goals when joining CrossFit… Lose weight, and get stronger

Have you achieved any of those goals… Yes, I have lost quite a bit, but now I’m not worried about the number on the scale I just want to look and feel healthy!

Has CrossFit affected your life outside the gym…. I have more energy and am able to better keep up with my kids. I’m also able to perform my job better.

Any advice for people getting started… Keep at it, do not compare yourself to others, go at your own pace, show up and do what you are able…at least you showed up!

Some of your recent accomplishments… 20’ box jumps, I’ve also been able to RX some of the workouts!  Can’t wait to get my first pullup and double under!!

What makes CFCR special to you?  The trainers and friends I have made make CFCR special to me! Love how encouraging, supportive and helpful everyone is.
