Congratulations on taking that first step into better eating habits. I am fired up for National Nutrition Month to be able to share with all of you some tips on how to eat better, feel better and look better. I assure you if you give it all you’ve got and follow along with these 5 habits you will be that much closer to targeting your nutrition goals.

1LT Tyler E. Parten, 24, of AR, died Sept. 10 in Konar province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire. He was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO.
