The Holidays are now over, and the realities of life have come back in full force.  And while we may have slacked with our eating habits from Halloween through the new year, isn’t it time that we get back on track.  The decorations are all put away (or we have at least thought about putting them away), kids are back in school, and work is work as usual.  We are showing up to the gym regularly again, but how do we now get back on track with our nutrition?

DECIDE TODAY

Decide today that your health is important.  This not only includes working out, but how we fuel our bodies.  Decide today that you are going to eat whole foods and hydrate with plenty of water throughout the day.

CLEAN UP
I’m speaking specifically in the kitchen.  Throw out any of those last few holiday treats that may be lingering on the countertop or in the fridge.  Just get rid of them!

BABY STEPS
Change is hard, and can’t be done all at once.  Set small and measurable goals.

-Today drink more water
-This week eat more vegetables
-Cut out the excess sugar from wherever you can

Make small simple steps towards a healthier you, and keep going!
